PET EDUCATION PROJECT

We recently joined The Pet Education Project and are proud to be a part of this exciting group. Please visit their website to learn more about what they are up to with kids in the classroom.

Please let us know if you would like us to bring Pet Education to your classroom, after school program, learning camps, or any education outreach program where learning about animals is important for the students and our communities.

PET FOOD RESOURCE

Through our Partnership with Whole Foods Market in Jacksonville, FL we collect pet food to share and distribute to people in need with pets.

Not being able to afford to feed a pet is one of the many reasons people give up their beloved companion. Many pets don't have to be homeless if we can rise up as a community and help each other. Providing pet food for low-income families or to anyone needing a little help makes a big difference, and keeps pets and people together.

Since 2016 we have collected and provided over 2,000 lbs of pet food to families with pets in the Northeast Florida community

CHANCE

WINGS OF HOPE

Our Children's book is self-published and all proceeds go right back into the work we do. This book was created as a way to share information to create a more compassionate world for people and animals. It includes talking points and questions to be discussed in a classroom or at home with children and adults.

"A pit bull and a shiny-winged butterfly both know what it's like to not be liked and to be judged by their outside appearance.  Follow along the true story of Chance, a rescued pit bull, who learns about Fletcher, a monarch butterfly."

The book is available for purchase on AMAZON (Click below to get a copy). If you're a teacher or an animal shelter and would like a FREE copy to add to your Education Outreach Program, please contact jessie@epicanimals.org

Thanks to our friends at The Academy of Prosocial Learning for including the book in their curriculum that you can download for the classroom (Click below)
